LICENSING

Managed access.
No subscription.

Licensing gives PatrolPath a safe way to manage which agencies and MDTs are using the software. It is not a payment system.

01Five-day evaluation

A new installation registers one five-day evaluation while online. The same installation cannot restart the clock by registering again.

02Agency activation

An agency key is entered once in PatrolPath. The MDT receives its own renewal credential and a signed local license.

03Quiet renewal

The signed lease lasts 30 days. PatrolPath starts renewal attempts seven days before expiration, so normal launches do not call home.

04Offline tolerance

If connectivity is unavailable, the signed lease includes a 14-day grace period after its normal expiration.

WHAT THE LICENSE SERVER SEES

Enough to manage an installation. Nothing from the patrol.

Random installation ID

Windows computer name

PatrolPath version and selected state profile

Activation and renewal credentials

× No GPS coordinates, road history, events, CAD data, or narratives

AGENCY CONTROL

One key can cover the MDTs you authorize.

Each agency license can have an installation limit and an optional end date. Individual MDTs can be disabled without changing patrol files, and an agency key can be suspended or revoked if necessary.
